Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is executed in the Czech language, and this English translation is provided for informational purposes only. In the event of any discrepancy, inconsistency, or contradiction between the Czech version and this English translation, the Czech version shall prevail and be legally binding.

1. Data Controller

1.1 WOODYGLASS s.r.o., ID No. (IČ): 079 00 651, with its registered office at Tuřanka 1222/115, 627 00 Brno Slatina (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller"), declares that all personal data processed by the Controller is considered strictly confidential. The Controller handles such data in accordance with national legislation and European Union regulations applicable to personal data protection.

1.2 The Controller collects, stores, and uses your personal data within the meaning of Section 6 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended, and Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR").

1.3 This policy is issued to ensure you are adequately informed about what personal data the Controller processes, for what purpose, for how long, who will have access to your data, and what your rights are. This policy applies to all personal data collected by the Controller.

 

2. Processed Data

2.1 The Controller is entitled to process the following personal data according to the purpose, category of data, category of data subject, and retention period as follows:

2.1.1 Purpose of processing: HR and payroll management

  • Categories of personal data: Identification and contact details, information regarding education, work experience, and qualifications of applicants.

  • Category of data subject: Job applicants.

  • Retention period: 6 months.

2.1.2 Purpose of processing: Performance of a contractual relationship

  • Categories of personal data: Identification details, contact details, accounting data, and information regarding services provided.

  • Category of data subject: Our customers or suppliers of goods and services.

  • Retention period: For the duration of the contractual relationship.

2.1.3 Purpose of processing: Accounting and tax purposes

  • Categories of personal data: Identification details, contact details, accounting data, and information regarding services provided.

  • Category of data subject: Our customers or suppliers of goods and services.

  • Retention period: 10 years from the end of the tax period.

2.1.4 Purpose of processing: Sending commercial communications

  • Categories of personal data: Identification and contact personal data.

  • Category of data subject: Individuals subscribing to news (newsletters), our customers, or suppliers.

  • Retention period: For an indefinite period (until the right to erasure is exercised).

2.2 Definitions of Processing Purposes:

  • 2.2.1 Performance of Contract: Relationship based on an order, registration, contract, or competition entry.

  • 2.2.2 Commercial Communications: Sending offers via email, SMS, or telephone.

  • 2.2.3 Accounting and Tax: Bookkeeping as required by tax legislation.

  • 2.2.4 HR and Payroll: Employment contracts, payroll, social and health insurance contributions as per the Labour Code and related laws.

  • 2.2.5 Statistical Purposes: Anonymized monitoring of website traffic, page views, time spent on site, and device types to improve service quality.

  • 2.2.6 Legitimate Interest: Legal defense in disputes (retained for 4 years after the warranty period). Also includes fraud prevention and direct marketing to existing customers.

  • 2.2.7 Statutory Obligations: Providing information to law enforcement and other public authorities.

2.3 Data is processed for the time necessary to ensure all rights and obligations arising from the legal relationship, or for the period required by law or consent.

 

3. Data Processed Based on Consent

3.1 If consent was granted, it was for:

  • 3.1.1 Sending commercial communications and offering products and services.

 

4. Rights of the Data Subject

4.1 As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • 4.1.1 Right of Access: You may request information on whether your data is being processed. The Controller may charge a reasonable fee for this, not exceeding the necessary costs.

  • 4.1.2 Right to Rectification and Erasure: You may have inaccurate data corrected or request erasure if the data is no longer needed or is processed unlawfully. You may also request a restriction of processing.

  • 4.1.3 Right to Explanation: If you suspect illegal processing.

  • 4.1.4 Right to Contact the Authority: You may contact the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

  • 4.1.5 Right to Data Portability: To receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • 4.1.6 Right to Object: Against processing based on public or legitimate interests.

  • 4.1.7 Right to Withdraw Consent: At any time, if processing is based on consent.

 

5. Cookies

5.1 Cookies are small text files sent to your browser to record information about your visit (e.g., language).

5.2 Types of Cookies:

  • 5.2.1 Session Cookies: Temporary files are deleted after closing the browser.
